Key Programmes
1. Math Trails
Programme is designed to bring students out of the classrooms to make meaningful applications of Mathematics in an authentic environment. It aims to develop students to be curious and inquisitive about the world around them and acquire deeper understanding, relevance and appreciation of Mathematics in real life.
2. Vista Mathematician Challenge
Programme aims to promote self-directed learning, nurture creativity and problem-solving skills in students.
3. Factual Fluency
Programme strives to strengthen students’ acquisition of basic Math fact and help students achieve mastery in Mathematics calculations.
4. Learning Support for Mathematics (LSM)
Programme is designed for Primary 1 and 2 students who need extra support in acquiring basic numeracy skills.
5. Spatial Visualisation Programme
Programme aims to help students develop creative, critical and reflective thinking skills in the aspect of Spatial Visualisation and Perception.
6. Math Olympiad Programme
Programme is designed to enrich selected P4 to P6 students who are keen to participate in Mathematics Olympiad Competitions such as Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO), Singapore Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (SMOPS), National Mathematical Olympiad Singapore (NMOS) and Mathlympics.
7. Excellence 2000 (E2K) Math
Programme is for Primary 4 to 6 students who demonstrate interest and aptitude in Mathematics. It aims to develop students’ mathematical reasoning skills and deepen their conceptual understanding through an inquiry approach. The learning experience in E2K aims to foster independence in mathematical thinking skills, as well as nurture other important 21st century competencies such as resilience and resourcefulness, critical and inventive thinking, and effective communication skills.
